Here’s some food for thought: This could mean that even the feeling of presence created by virtual reality means very little, if the content is boring, and you’re uncomfortable under your HMD. Immersion has a lot to do with the degree of comfort you experience while playing and the suspense created. Sadly, I have to say: As much as the acting and production made this very immersive, the controls killed my immersion more than a dozen times for sure, and the lack of free movement you’d expect from a computer game didn’t help either. I played this with an Xbox controller and the sometimes counterintuitive actions were quite manageable. Perhaps the truth is somewhere in between as with most things. What an unforgettable, emotional and often quite sad story,īut if I was trying to be cynical, then I wouldn’t be able to decide whether to call this an amazing interactive experience or a sad excuse for a computer game. ☐ The game itself is a big terrarium for bugs ☐ Only if u care about leaderboards/ranks Story has some plot holes that bothered me but the ending really was worth it all.
